Improved non-woven fabric with high CD elongation and manufacturing method thereof

A nonwoven fabric formed by spinning a spun fiber, wherein the density of the spun fiber in the fabric is between a relatively high density strip and a relatively low density strip. Variety. The strips extend in an alternating pattern in the machine direction along the length of the fabric, and the high density strips are separated from one another by low density strips. The alternating high density and low density strips result in a fabric having a higher percent elongation in the transverse direction than in the machine direction.
