Screen printing features:
1. Not limited by the size and shape of the substrate. Generally, printing can only be performed on a flat surface, and silk screen printing can not only print on a flat surface, but also print on special shapes and concave-convex surfaces, and can also print various large-scale advertising pictures, vertical curtains, and curtains.
2. The layout is soft and small. The screen printing plate is soft and flexible, and the printing pressure is small, so it can not only print on soft substrates such as paper and textiles, but also on glass that is easily damaged by pressure. Printing on ceramic ware.
3. The thick ink layer has strong coverage. The thickness of screen printing ink can reach 30 ～ 100μm, therefore, the hiding power of the ink is particularly strong, and it can be used for pure white printing on all black paper.
The thick ink layer of screen printing and the strong three-dimensional feeling of the printed graphics are unmatched by other printing methods.
4. Suitable for all types of inks. The wide range of inks used in silk screen printing is beyond the definition of ordinary inks. In fact, there are pastes, plastics, paints, adhesive or solid powders. Therefore, sometimes screen printing inks are collectively called "printing materials".
5. Strong light resistance. The problem of ink classification in a broad sense should be divided according to the type of printing plate, that is, it is divided into letterpress ink, lithographic ink, gravure ink and filtered ink. However, such a classification is too principled to express all the realities. In recent years, due to the increasing variety of inks, new patterns have appeared continuously. The only difference is the type of pattern.
